"Have in yourselves which was also in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 2.5)

The service to God, the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our life itself houses the element of fullness of the Spirit. In Hebrews 9 we read that the Lord Jesus Christ sacrificed Himself to God through the eternal Spirit and not through something like emotional sentimentality.
  So Paul also says very clearly: "For it is we who are the circumcision, who worship God in the Spirit." How few believers learned to serve the Lord in spirit !.
   Most still acts emotionally. Sentimental children of God will remain intact or never inwardly.

  Another element of the Lordship of Jesus Christ in your life is the sublime inner tranquility. Only he who serves the living God came inside rest, for Jesus Christ reigns in it.
  It is the rest of the Lord saying, "Come unto me ... I will give you rest." This is the tranquility experienced by someone like Paul who witness in the midst of a terrible storm, when the ship he was threatening to sink, "For this night an angel of God, whose I am and whom I serve, was with me. "
  Serve Jesus means to have the same motivation that he had. Such a person is honored by the Father to the same extent that the Lord Jesus himself was honored. This he has promised us: "If anyone serves me, the Father will honor."
